The selection process:
Families are enrolled based on available openings in each age group, with preference given to siblings of children already enrolled and to families who are affiliated with Morningside Gardens, Columbia University and Barnard College. The Center seeks a balance of ages and sexes and tries to reflect a commitment to a nonsectarian, multicultural and multiracial community. We are an inclusive school and strive to meet the educational needs of a wide variety of learners.

Notifications of admission are sent out in March.

Additional openings:
Most of our families begin in the Fall, although we enroll children as new spaces become available. Additional enrollment for the Fall is initiated in February and families are accepted in the order in which their applications have been received.

How to apply:
Applications cannot be completed online. Please mail or hand deliver your application along with a $50 fee to the address listed on the application. Once the application is received, you will be invited to attend a tour during operating hours.
