Every Autumn, our community partakes in seasonal traditions including the painitng and carving of pumpkins! Constantly challenging ourselves as teachers includes aspects of curriculum of all shapes and sizes; including the conventions of a fall palette being restrained to the typical yellow, red, orange, and green. For the Yellow Room palette, colors complimenting and highlighting the universally known orange hue of pumpkin were chosen. Muted pastel blues and pinks followed by rich forest greens and burgundies to compliment the foundation of the pumpkin color.
These pumpkins are a work in progress as the children continue to come back to and explore the Subject in front of them. Check out their work so far!
